She attended the public schools in Hancock County7. She later received Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and joined Elim Baptist Church where she was a faithful member. She later met and married Mr. Rufus Whitefield (who preceded her in death.) to whom 6 children were born (4 preceded her in death). She later married Mr. Thomas Clark, (who also preceded her in death). She leaves to cherish her memory Two daughters, Mrs. Betty Cantlow and Mrs. Susie Mae Harris; Two sisters, Mrs. Kinnie Mae Glover and Mrs. Estelle Robinson, Ten Grandchildren, 17 Great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
