Reverend Howard Cheatham departed this life on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Trinity Hospital, Augusta, GA. 
He confessed Christ at an early age. He pastored St. Marys o f Philadelphia, PA., for 25 years, and Williams Grove Baptist Church o f Waynesboro, GA., for 3 years. 
He was preceded in death by his parents Ada and Es sie Cheatham, two sisters; Lucy Lewis o f Philadel phia, PA., and Flora Craigh o f Detroit, ML, and one brother, Paul Cheatham o f Detroit, ML 
He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving wife o f fifty-two years, Sis. Allie Cheatham, two daughters; Brunetta and Janice Cheatham, son, Billy Cheatham all o f Philadelphia, PA., five sisters; Minnie Jordan, Frances (Charlie) Lewis o f Columbus, GA., Ruby Nelson o f Detroit, ML, Bonnie Coleman o f Greenville, AL., and Dorothy (Johnny ) Powell o fAu gusta, GA., brother, William Cheatham o f Philadel phia, PA., six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and a host o f other relatives, nieces, nephews, a very loving and devoted brother-in-law, Johnny Powell o fAugusta, GA.
