All: Therefore we will not fear. One: Let us pray... The Lords Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. Renewal of Confidence (Unison) Holy God, it is so easy for us to forget that all the blessings of life come from you, and only your grace can sustain us. Lord, in your mercy, heal us and make us whole. Renew us and restore us to the joy of your salvation, now and forever. Amen. 4 (Psalm 23) Litany of Assurance One: Holy God, whose ways are not our ways and whose thoughts are not our thoughts, grant that your Holy Spirit may intercede for us with sighs too deep for human words. All: The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul. He leads me in right paths, for his name's sake. One: Heal our wounded hearts, made heavy by our sorrow. All: Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me, your rod and your staff - they comfort me. One: Through the veil of our tears, assure us again that human imagination cannot envision what you have prepared for those who love you. All: You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. One: Through Jesus Christ our Lord... All: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. First Scripture Lesson: John 10:1-18 One: This is the word of the Lord.
