Mr. Johnnie Butler was bom December 4,1926 in Edgefield County, South Carolina to the late Marie Carthen. 
He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was a retired Civil Service worker. 
Cherishing his memory are: a son, Mr. Ronnie Butler, one sister, Mrs. Lannie C. Faust, Augusta, GA; two brothers, Dea. Jeff Harris, North Augusta, S.C.; and Mr. Wade Carthen, Sr., Augusta, GA; dear sisters-in-law, Mrs. Annie Carthen, Mrs. Mamie Alice Lee, Mrs. Deannie Mae O'Bryant and Mrs. Minnie L. Hope, Augusta, GA; a devoted brother-in-law, Mr. Willie Lee, and a host o f nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
