He d e p a r t e d this life on M o n d a y M o r n i n g , N o v e m b e r 11, I9S5 in the Richland Memorial Hospital. At an early age, he joined the Mount Moses CME Church, after moving to Columbia to live with his d a u g h t e r , C a r r i e he was b a p t i s e d and became a member of the P r o g r e s s i v e H o l i ness Church of Our Lord 3esus Christ. He was u n i t e d in Holy M a t r i m o n y to M i s s M i l e y Butler. He leaves to mourn his passing; his wife, Mrs. M i l e y Brooks of Saluda, SC; seven daughters, Mrs. Carrie Henderson and Mrs. Ethel Conway of C o l u m b i a , SC, M r s . M a t t i e W h i t e , M r s .
