Mrs. Joann Bell was bom on December 2, 1950 to Mrs. Anna Liza 
Jones and the late Mr. Nathaniel Jones, Sr. Joann was one of ten 
children bom in this wedlock. Two of Mrs. Bell's sisters, Martha Jones 
and Barbara Jones, preceded her in death. 
Mrs. Joann Bell attended Augusta Technical College and was employed 
as a Licensed Practical Nurse at University Hospital, Augusta, Georgia 
where she worked in all areas of the Emergency Room. She also worked 
many years with Keller Industries (now Sunbeam) in Waynesboro, 
Georgia. Mrs. Bell has lived in the Augusta area for twenty-six years. 
She was spiritually united with Elim Baptist Church and was a member 
of the R.L. Boyd Chorus and Mass Choir. 
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, James Wilford Bell of 
the home; three sons, Kenneth James Bell, Augusta, GA, Curtis Wilford 
Bell, Pemberton, NJ and Kelvin Christopher Bell, Augusta, GA; her 
grandchildren, Desmond Smith and Curtrina Bell, Augusta, GA; God 
daughter, Nicole Ingram; her mother, Mrs. Anna Liza Jones, Ridgeland, 
SC; four sisters, Mrs. Louise (James) Rawlings, Spring Valley, NY, 
Mrs. Helen J. (Alex) Cummings, Mauldin, SC, Mrs. Ruth (Terry) 
Stephens, Summerville, SC and Mrs. Priscilla (Ronnie) Fraser, 
Ridgeland, SC; three brothers, her twin, Mr. Joe (Margaret) Jones, El 
Paso, TX, Henry Nathaniel (Patricia) Jones, St, Helena, SC and Coy 
(Sharon) Jones, Walterboro, SC; two aunts, Mrs. Sadie Frazier, 
Ridgeland, SC and Mrs. Louise Parker, Boston, Mass.; and a host of 
nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
