The late Willie and Flaura Cave Bell were his proud parents. He was preceded in death by three: brothers: Willie .. U: James, Roscoe and Harry Benjamin. He was the third of nine children and was always respectful and kind. Gene, with his quiet demeanor was a friend to everyone and always had a smile on his face. He was a graduate of Kelly-Edwards High School in Williston, SC and the Denmark, SC Area Trade and Technical School. C Early in his childhood, he united with the Union Branch Baptist Church of Williston, SC and never forgot his Christian home training. He continued to worship the Lord after moving away. In the late 50s he married the former Vermeil Jenkins and to this union, three children were born. He later moved to Boston, Massachusetts in sea/ch of a more prosperous life for his family. He retired from the Boston Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority after years of service.^ Survivors include the following: Wife: Vermeil Jenkins Bell; Children: Kimberli Rene Bell, Nelson Bernard Bell of Boston, Stefan (Felicia) Bell df Chicago, lL., Chanel Badgett of Dorchester, MA, and Shirley White of Williston, SC. He had a Special Friend, Marilynn Badgett of Dorchester. MA. He had seven grand children and three great-grand children. His siblings include Sisters: Josie Ethel Stallings, Queens Village, NY, Sarah Frances (Barney) Glover, and Annie B. Robinson of Augusta, Georgia; Brothers: Escoe (Lonzenar) Bell, Boston, MA, and Bell (Connie) Atlanta, GA; Sisters-in-laws: Aliphare Bell, Aiken, SC, Gloria (William) Jenkins, and Rosa Lee (Alfonzo) Courtney, Boston, MA; Aunt: Emethel (John) Alien, Philadelphia, PA; Uncles: Fred (Ida) Bell, Aiken, SC and Elrpore Bell, Jacksonville, FL. He also leaves behind an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends who love him dearly. ^ Eugene Bell, a man of character... Who endured trials that made him strong .
