Henderson, Jr., Officiating Obituary Mr. Jephthae "Jeph" Baccus was born December 28, 1954 in Boiling Springs, South Carolina. He went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 18, 2004. Jeph was a member of Corinthian Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Laymen Organization and coached basketball. He was an employee of General Motors -Delphi, a graduate of Dunbar High School, class of 1973 and a friend of Bill W. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 18 years, Mary Kathryn Baccus; mother, Mattie (Tony) Speaks; father, Oscar Baccus; two brothers, Edward, Timothy (Glenna); two sisters, Beverly (Ezra) Knox, Jillian; special nieces: Keta, Karen, Brianna, Teria, Leah, Felicia and Marlee; a special thanks to devoted nieces: Kenyatta, Tracy, and Tia; special nephews: Jhermon, Shamar, Michael Jr., Steven, Robert and Reggie; devoted in-laws: Sandra, Shirley, Steve, Michael, Harvey, Faye and Elbert; many other relatives and friends. God saw he was getting tired And a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around him And whispered, come with Me. With tearful eyes we watched him suffer^ And saw him fade away. Although we loved him dearly, We could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.
