 Obituary 
Miss Eunice Paralee Adams departed this life on Friday, January 28, 1983. She was born in Newberry County to the late Daniel and Dicey Annie Adams on March 28, 1908. 
At an early age the family moved to Greenville, S.C. and joined Alien Temple A.M.E. Church, where Miss Adams served as a Sunday School Teacher, Assistant Superintendant of the Sunday School, a Steward, Class Leader, organized and directed the Junior Choir, Minister of Music, an elected Delegate for many years to the A.M.E. Conferences, re-elected many times as chairperson for Womens Day Programs, a charter member of The Boosters Club and The Decorators Club of her church. 
She was a graduate of Alien University, Columbia, S.C. Miss Adams was a retired teacher from the Greenville Public School System where she taught for many years. She also taught Adult Education at night school for a number of years. She worked hard in her community and was loved by all. 
She leaves to mourn her passing, two sisters: Mrs. Clarice Steward of Philadelphia, PA., and Mrs. Ruth H. Clark of Greenville, S.C., two brothers: Mr. E. Melvin Adams of Orangeburg, S.C. and Lt. Col Paul Adams of Lincoln, Nebraska, three sister-in-laws, one brother-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, grand and great grand nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
