Jaffe inquires, since Ben Stein has recently taken over the Douglass Theatre, whether or not Stein Enterprises would be interested in adding more "colored" houses to their circuit. He describes the Palace Theatre and mentions that they play the T.O.B.A. circuit in conjunction with Bessemer, Alabama. Jaffe advises that the Ensley house is for sale and that the Bessemer house could probably be bought as well. He quotes the rent for the Ensley house and offers to make a "wonderful" proposition, assuring that Stein would make money. Jaffe asks for a quick reply and invites Stein to visit the Palace Theatre. See dbr087 of the Douglass Theatre Web site for Stein's reply.</dc:description><dc:description>Digital image and encoded transcription of an original manuscript, scanned, transcribed and encoded by the Digital Library of Georgia in 2005, as part of Georgia HomePLACE.
