Between George S Cameron as President of the Dahlonega Gold Company party of the first part and John R. French Treasurer of the Lumpkin Chestatee mining Company as Trustee for the use and benifit [benefit] of the Stockholders of said last mentioned Company party hereto of the second part. Witnesseth [Witnesses] that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Nine Thousand Dollars Lawful money of the United States of America to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part, at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has granted bargained sold aliened remised released conveyed and confirmed. and by these presents dose [does] Grant bargain sell alien remise release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part. and to his successors and assigns forever all that certain lot of Land Situate lying and being in the first District of Lumpkin formally [formerly] Habersham County in the State of Georgia known and distinguished in the plan Page: [2] of said District as fractional lot one Hundred and Twenty five (125) oposite [opposite] the Fields Gold Mine containing Two hundred acres more or less and also all that tract or parsel [parcel] of Land also Situate in the first District of said Lumpkin County in the State of Georgia known as fractional lot number one hundred and Twenty Three (123) adjoining the Lands hereinafter described and divied from the Same by the River Chestatee containing one Hundred and Sixty five (165) acres more or less and also all that tract or parsel [parcel] of Land Situate lying and being in the fifteenth District of the first Section of originally Cherokee but now in the County of Lumpkin aforesaid in State aforesaid known in the plan of said District as fractional lots numbers Five hundred and Twenty five (525) Five Hundred and Twenty Six (526) Five hundred and Twenty Seven (527) and Five hundred and Twenty Eight (528) on the Chestatee River and known as the Bearden place and also all that certain tract or parsel [parcel] of Land lying immediately above the said Bearden tract in said Fifteenth Page: [3] (15th District known as the Collins place imbracing [embracing] lots numbers Five Hundred and Thirteen (513) Five Hundred and [deleted text: Fifteen] [added text: Seventeen] ([deleted text: 515] [added text: 517] ) [added text: [unclear text: should he]] and Five Hundred and Sixteen (516) the said Several lots and fractional lots in said Fifteenth (15th) District containing in the whole Two Hundred acres more or less Together with all and Singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents Issues and profits thereof and also all the Estate right title Interest property possession claim and demand whatsoever as well in Law as in Equity of the party of the first part of in or to the above described premises and every part and parsel [parcel] thereof with the appurtenances. French Treasurer in trust for the use and benifit [benefit] of the Stock holders [Stockholders] of the said last mentioned Company all the property real and personal and all the Stock prefered [preferred] and otherwise evidences of debt goods chattles [chattels] and things in action belonging to or due or to become due to the said Dahlonega Gold Company and I do hereby give the said John R. Norfolk of New Hampshire parties of the first part and the Lumpkin Chestatee Mining Company party of the second Part Witnesseth [Witnesses] that the said parties of the first part for themselves jointly Page: [12] and Severally for and in consideration of fifty Thousand Shairs [Shares] of the Capital Stock of the said Lumpkin Chestatee Mining Company to be paid unto the Parties of the first Part their heirs and assigns by the said Party of the second Part do by these presents hereby sell assign convey and transfer unto the said Lumpkin Chestatee Mining Company or their assigns all the right title Claim and interest in Law or Equity of the Parties of the first part which they or any of them now hold or may hereafter obtain in and to any and all leases within a distance of Ten (10) miles of lots granting mining privaledges [privileges] in the bead [bed] or beads [beds] and banks of the Chestatee River in the State of Georgia Commencing on said River at the lower end of the Canal Cut across lot No (123) in the first District of originally Habersham now Lumpkin County and thence extending down said River as it runs for a distance of Ten miles also all the rights title interest priviledges [privileges] and claims of the said Parties of the first part, Page: [13] or any of them in and to any leases of mining interest which they now hold or may hereafter obtain in all tributaries of said River which emty [empty] their water within the Ten mile limits aforesaid. To have and to hold and exercise all the rights privileges and immunities unto the said second Party as fully to all intents and purposes as the same could have been enjoyed by the said Party of the first part or any of them Individually or Severally.
