I wrote you several weeks ago in regard to our mine and also requesting you to send me that money received from Mr. Williams to settle the rents which I paid you. I have not heard from you since and would beg you to write me upon the receipt of this. You have probably met Mr. Trimble before this time and I would like to know what you got out of him in reference to closing up the trade at once or at least making Page: [2] such arrangements as would release me from the debts of the concern.
