Reservations; Reservations for all flights must be made in advance. Ticket Validity: Domestic and international tickets are valid for one year from date of com- mencement of initial flight or if no portion of the ticket is used, from the date of issuance thereof. Children's fares: One child under 2, not occupying seat or berth, free with each adult fare on services within U.S. and Canada and to Alaska. 10% of adult fare on services to Hawaii and Orient. Children under 2 for whom seat or berth is reserved and all children 2 and under 1 2 half fare. Half-Fare Family Plan: With payment of one full one-way first class fare, spouse and children under 22 travel at half-fare Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays on all first class domestic flights. Baggage: Includes all luggage such as brief cases, portfolios, packages and parcels, type- writers, camera equipment and similar articles, either carried in the cabin or checked. Articles such as overcoats, umbrellas and cameras will not be included in baggage weights. Baggage Allowance: 40 lbs. when traveling first class or tourist within the U.S. and Canada 44 lbs. when traveling tourist to or from Hawaii. 6 lbs. when traveling first class or tourist between Seattle and Alaska and 44 lbs. tourist or 66 lbs. first class as applicable between U. S. points and Seattle in conjunction with Alaskan travel. 66 lbs. first class or 44 lbs. tour- ist class when traveling to or from or within the Orient. There is a charge of V 2 of I % of the adult first class one woy fare per pound or 1% per kilo, minimum 25c for all baggage in excess of the free weight allowance.
