- This investigation reports the analysis of seven far-infrared excited AlGaAs-GaAs superlattices in the range of 50-450 cm*l. The spectra presented exhibit peaks at the reststrahlen frequencies for the ternary compound A1 _xGaxAs and the binary compound GaAs The knowledge of earlier AlGaAs studies were instrumental in generating equations that yielded phonon parameters for the AlGaAs-GaAs superlattices. The FORTRAN program 'Momlfit�' was also employed to perform a 'least square fit' to the spectra which yielded the Free carrier parameters. The results ofthe data analysis gives carrier concentrations and mobilities relative to earlier studies.
