" Revelation 21:4 On Monday, December 10, 2012, Deaconess Lemma Thelma Totten Wright peacefully transitioned from earthly existence into the resting place of our Heavenly Father. She was ~~ born in Caswell County on July 27, 1925, to the late Tom and Lemma Johnson Totten. She graduated from Caswell County Training School in 1944. She dedicated her life to Christ at the Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church at an early age, where she enjoyed worshipping, was a dedicated member and attended service until her health declined. She was a Deaconess, a member of the Kitchen Committee and a member of the Senior Choir. She was one of the first Ushers in the new church. She truly loved the Lord and her church family. She was employed by Expo Tobacco Company and later retired from Hanover Mills Company. In addition to her parents, her husband, Oscar Wright, preceded her in death. Two children, Stanley Wright and Carol Wright, eight brothers, Lorenza Totten, Waymond Totten, Sherman Totten, Tommy Totten, Ulysses Totten, Robert Totten, Theotis Totten, Henry Totten, Sr., four sist~rs, Willie Esther Totten Foster, Adela Totten Graves, Mabel Totten and Ophelia Totten also preceded her in death. Thelma leaves to cherish her memory, her children Delois ~r Wright Mitchell, Carolyn Wright Foster (Larry), and Oscar (Timmy) Wright Jr., an adopted daughter, Ethel Brooks and a sister-in-law Evelyn Totten, 11 grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and fktJs
