TERENCE GRAY, OFFICIATING OBITUARY Erma Jean Wood was born in Cuthbert, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mathis Long and Annie Long. She earned a B.S. degree in Social Work at Fort Valley State College and worked extensively with Job Corps in Clinton, Iowa and Charleston, West Virginia. Before her illness she was employed with ARC in Macon. Jean passed from this life on November 12, 1995. She leaves to mourn her passing, her mother, Mrs. Annie Long of Macon, Georgia; sisters, Hilda Norman of Macon, Mary Sampson of Thomson, Georgia, Flora Davis of Glenarden, Maryland and Annie Williams of Cuthbert, Georgia; one brother, Matthew Long of Oakland, California; thirteen nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
