Converted early in life he was bapti zed i nto t:he Big Spring Baptist Church and upon coming to the Miami are a some thirty-odd years ago he c onn ec ted him self wit h the Mount Zion Raptis t Church . His quiet , unassuming manner gained for him many loyal friends and loved ~n e.s including tho s e w id~ "Whom he -worked at The Rod and Reel Cluh - where he was emplo)red for a number of ye ar s .
