Don't grieve for me, now J'mfree, l'mfollowing the path God laid for me I took his hand and I heard him call, 
I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that peace at the close ofday. 
If my parting has left a void, 
Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full; I've savored much, Goods friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all to brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief, Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now! He set mefree.

 Mrs. Rhoda Williams was born in Phoenix City, Alabama on August 1, 1912. She was the only daughter out of six children born to Anderson and Sarah Hollaway. 
Rhoda attended public schools in Phoenix City, Alabama. As an adult she worked in Alabama in the Factory Mills for 34 years. Later in life, she moved to Indianapolis, Indiana with her oldest belated son, Curtis Williams. 
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Willie Williams, Sr. They shared a love for over 60 years. 
Rhoda leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Betty Williams and Essie Paulus; one son, Willie Williams, Jr.; twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren; a host of great-great grandchildren; she also leaves a sister, Sadie Golden; and a host of nieces and nephews. 
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me beside still waters. He restoreth my soul;  He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow ofdeath, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence ofmine enemies Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days ofmy life; And I shall dwell in the house of the Lordforever.
