1956-2012 
Mr . Alfred Williams was born August 22, 1956, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Mr . and Mrs.Ollie (Gertrude) Williams. He was their baby boy.Alfred was a humorous, mild-mannered man . He enjoyed being around family and friends, although he was equally comfortable being alone with himself watching television in his room. He always minded his own business . One of his biggest joys came from playing with his nieces and nephews. Alfred was a product of the Atlanta Public School System . He worked for 12 years for International Distributors Company, five years for Morton Warehouse, and 12 years for Randall Brothers. On July 10,2012, he joined in heaven his grandmother (Gertrude Jones) , his mother (Gertrude Williams), father (Ollie Wiiliams) , brother (Melvin Williams), and a host of other family members . He is survived by his son, Alfred Garland Jr, three grandchildren, brother, James Pittman, Jr . (Margaret) sisters , Priscilla Williams Roach, Patricia Williams, Yvonne Williams Pruitt , Yvette Williams Howard (Herman) and a host of relatives and friends. 
We don't like to say good-bye to those whom we love; separation is tough . It is right tor us to weep, but there is no need for us to despair. They had pain here. There is no pain there. They struggled here. They have no struggles there . You and I might wonder why God took them home . But they don't. They understood . They are, at this very moment, at peace in the presence of God. We rest in this truth. Alfred is at peace and really there's no better place to be. (From When Christ Comes by Max Lucado)
