Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following the path God laidfor me. I took his hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work, or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I 
found that place at the close ofday. Ifmy parting has left a void, 
then jill it with rememberingjoy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, ah, yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times ofsorrow, I wish you the sunshine oftomorrow. My life's been full, I've savored much, good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief Don't lengthen it now with undue grief Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.

Mr. Calton "Cal" Green Trimble was born January 8, 1913 to Mr. George Trimble and Mrs. Mattie McCurdy Trimble of Norcross, Gwinnett County, Georgia. He went to be with the Lord on April 19, 2001. 
While very young, Mr. Trimble joined the Hopewell Baptist Church in Norcross, Georgia, and was a faithful member until he moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he joined the fellowship of the Israel Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend C. S. Jackson. He served faithfully on the Deacon Board where he held the distinction of being the oldest member of the board. He also sang in the male chorus, the number 2 choir, and participated in the number 3 choir, where he enjoyed singing and traveling with the choirs. He attended Sunday School and participated regularly in Bible Class and various other church activities. 
Mr. Trimble was united in marriage to Mrs. Louise Scott Trimble for fifty-four years and to this union, two children 
were born, Mr. Carlton M. Trimble and Ms. Valerie L. 
Trimble. He worked for the Grinnell Corporation; where he retired after thirty-three years of service. 
Mr. Trimble leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted wife, Mrs. Louise Scott Trimble; son, Mr. Carlton M. Trimble; 
daughter, Ms. Valerie L. Trimble; grandchildren, Mrs. Carla 
Trimble Reed, Ms. Caryn Trimble, Ms. Carliesha D. Trimble, Mr. Calrico Harris, and Latisha Harris; eight greatgrandchildren; two nieces, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Williams, Long Beach, California, Mrs. Dorothy Crosby Stephens, Decatur, Georgia; four nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Crosby, Decatur, Georgia, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Crosby, Rialto, California, Mr. Charles Crosby, Los Angeles, California, and Mr. and Mrs. Billy W. Trimble, Decatur, Georgia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
