A Mother's Prayer Fourteen years ago feeling hurt and alone God sent you to help me make it along. Each year your smile helped ease the pain Soon the hurt was no longer in vain. I wanted you to have the best, Happiness, joy, and sweet success I held you close, as Mothers do Afraid to lose or have someone mistreat you But you were the child that people enjoyed Your smile, your wit, and your quest for joy And Mom being Mom let them employ I 'm thankful for all ofthe men, friends, and women Who tried to help me mold this human gem I've always tried to mend the pain I know and believe those efforts weren 't in vain. For God so graciously as He always does Dispatched His angels from up above You had a great time with the early years But the middle years brought heartache andfear Mom has always tried to make it right But after five long months, I gave God this fight We must always do his Will and know that He is in control Evil will not prevail against the Will ofGod He answered my prayer and took over the rod Eliscia Robene, you are now in the only place Where you will be loved and protected like Mom Stay close to Mom and Dad Liscia, rest in peace baby, rest in peace.
