Sally transcended this life on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Sally was loving, generous, humorous, and a wonderful mother and grandmother. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, and being surrounded by family and friends. Wherever she went, she was a ray of sunshine bringing laughs and smiles to everyone around her. At an early age, she joined Springfield Baptist Church in Hogansville, Georgia. Later in life, she became a member of New Grant Chapel A.M.E. Church in East Point. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Jimmy Lee Smith. She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cameron (Judy), and Mr. Alfred Smith, Sr. (Cynthia); daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Parker (Katie), Mr. and Mrs. Derrick Johnson (Patricia), and Ms. Angela Smith (Don); daughterin-law, Anita King-Smith; brother, Mr. Richard Cameron (Janice); brothers-in-law, Mr. Sereno Spearman and Mr. Alton Hopson; sisterin-law, Mrs. Lucie Cameron. Her daughter Betty Ann Cameron preceded her in death. Sally Kate was blessed with 7 stepchildren, 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
