Early Sunday Morning at 8:45 A.M., God sent his Angels down to claim His own, Odessa Smith. 
God loved and watched over her for sixty-three years. She lert this world knowing that it is well with my soul. She lived a rich and run life, and was loved and respected by those who knew her. She was a member or Holy Trinity Church of God in Christ where the Rev. Hicks ia the Putor. 
For more than thirty-two years, she has lived in the Chicago Area. Today she is resting, sleeping in peace. For those who loved her, her memory will live forever. 
She leaves to mourn her passing: her loving daughter, Mrs. 
Elizabeth Hodges; one son-in-law, James E. Hodges; eight grandchildren: Mary Jordan, Jerald Caradine, Sgt. Jerry C. Barnes Jr., Florence Mitchell, Jennetta Barnes, Seaman Andre Hodges, Tony Hodges and Tonya Hodges; eight great-grand~hildien and a host of other relatives and friends. 
"Through the years, you walked and talked with God, You chose Him to be your friend, We loved and we will miss you, But He loved you best, Someday, we will meet again."
