 OBITUARY 
Mrs. Minnie L. Smith was born April 4, 1904 in Bibb County, Georgia to the late William and Rosa W. Taylor. 
She departed this life on February 5, 2002 at North Macon Health Care. 
She was a lifetime member of Saint Paul A.M.E. Church, where she served as a member of the Stewardess Board and many other organizations. 
She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Ft. Valley State College. She was employed by the Bibb County Board of Education for forty six years. She was a member of the Georgia Association for Educators and Bibb Association for Educators. 
She leaves with loving memories: two devoted nieces (whom she reared), Ms. Vivian Love and Ms. Betty Watkins; other nieces, Ms. Barbara Boddy, Martha Taylor, Joyce Rivers and Sandra Kelly of Atlanta, Georgia; nephews, Albert Burnette, Raymond Burnette, Taft Burnette, Charles Taylor of Macon, Georgia; Thomas Burnette of Indiana and Owen Rivers of Atlanta, Georgia, Ernest Taylor, Jr. of Arizona; first, second and third generation nieces, nephews; and a host of friends.
