" Mr. Marion Edward "Buster" Scott was born April 10, 1927 and departed this life Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Medford N'lirsing Cente~ in Darlington. He was the youngest of five children born to the late Benrow and Alma Brown Scott. He received his formal education in the Darlington County Schools. "Buster" was a life-long member of Mount Zion Baptist Church where he served faithfully on the Trustee Board until h1s declining health. During his employment "Buster" worked several jobs: Dixie Cup, Nucor Steel and lastly he retired from Clanton Auto Auction. "Buster" is predeceased by his wife, Minnie "Mirna" Goodson Scott; two children; two brothers and three step-children. Those left to cherish his memory are: his loving and devoted sister, Alma "Sissy" Scott of Darlington; one brother, Nathan Scott of Florence; four daughters: Mary S. Hudson, Gwendolyn H. Simon both of Darlington, Catherine (Jerome) Mitchell of Florence and Alma Baptiste of Queens, NY; one son, Alonza (Teresa) Hudson of Darlington; a beloved and special step great grandson, Terry Commander whom he reared of Anderson, SC; 18 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Shirley G. Hudson and Rosa Mae Brown both of Darlington; four step-sons: James Edward (Linda) Rogers, Charles (Gloria) Goodson, Jessie (Edwina) Goodson and Levern Goodson all of Darlington; sisters-in-law, brothers-in~law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
