A Daughter's Promise 
Every time that I smile, evenj time that I sigh, I think of your face, and a tear escapes my eye. You were my world, my inspiration and my heart, But when you left me, I thought I would fall apart. You were my best friend, my one true "confidante," And that's not all you were, you were also my Mom. I didn't want to live without you, but you would have wanted me to, 
And if there's anyone I want to make happy, that anyone is you. 
I would have given anything to have you back, but I know now that it was meant to be, 
For you are still watching from up there, and I know you're watching me. I'll make you proud Mom, I'm going to fulfill your wish, 
You're going to see me and smile, that's a daughter's promise.

Today we celebrate the life of Claudine Hall affectionately 
 
known as "Sister." She departed this life on June 24, 2015. She was 
 
born May 31, 1945 in Greensburg, Louisiana to the union of Joe 
 
Hall and Ola Mat_thews. She was raised in Greensburg, Louisiana 
 
and graduated from Helena High School. 
 
Claudine moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1967 with her 
 
husband, Roosevelt and their two children, Alvin and Yolanda. 
 
She worked as a caregiver for a loving family in Fayetteville, 
 
Georgia until she retired. 
 
Claudine believed in God and received Christ early in. She 
 
was a fun-loving mother, sister, daughter, aunt and grandmother. 
 
She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. 
 
She also enjoyed playing computer games and watching soap 
 
operas. Claudine lov:d all her family and had a wonderful smile 
 
that could light up a room. 
 
Claudine was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Hall 
 
and Ola Hall; her husband, Roosevelt; and her son, Alvin Hall. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Yolanda 
Hall of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters, Gwendolyn Hall of Greensburg, Louisiana and Sharon Rattliff of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; six brothers, Lawrence Hall (Marie) of Carson, California, Joe Hall (Veronica) of College Park, Georgia, Otis Hall (Denise) of Gardenia California, Herbert Hall of New Orleans, Louisiana, Alex Hall (Vickie) of Carson, California and Antoine Hall of Christiana, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Marcelleus Jefferson, Ariyona Satterwhite, Alviyonna Hall and Marquis Hall; one great-grandchild, Marcelleus Jefferson, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 
She will be greatly missed by her family and all that have known her.
