Ecclesiastes 3: 1 Ms. Christine Mathis Purnell known to others as "Chris" was born in Macon, Georgia on July 4, 1938 to Annie Willie Mathis. She was a student at M. M. Burdell where she went to Hudson High and graduated from Ballard Hudson. She joined Union Baptist Church at an early age where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. In her past-time, she loved the judges shows. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Surviving to cherish her living memories: Son, Stevie Purnell (Debra) ; daughter, Deborah Purnell Bronner (Matthew); grandchildren, Eric Bronner, Matthew Bronner, Jr., Stevie Purnell, Jr., Jarret Purnell and Cornelius Purnell; great grandchildren, Le'Irez Hill, Asli Bronner and Eric Parks; a host of cousins and friends.
