Whitlock, Sr. Officiating Mrs. Elease A. Palmer was born on February 25, 1934 in Buford, Georgia. At an early age, at the encouragement of the uncle and aunt who raised her, she dedicated her life to Christ. She was united in marriage to the late Myron Palmer, Sr. From this union, nine children were born. To all those who knew her, Elease was the epitome of strength. She served as the rock of her family through her mentorship, courage, devotion and loyalty. She welcomed anyone into her home with open arms. Elease remained strong as she was preceded in death by three sons, three daughters, one grandson, and one granddaughter. On Saturday, March 15, 2014, God called his angel home. She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Patricia Palmer; two sons, Mark (Joanne) and McCall Palmer; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, other relatives and friends. "My Grandmother'' by Victoria L. Payne In my Rose Garden ofMemories I see you standing there An angel in disguise Who taught me how to care I long to hear your voice for real not in my dreams I am missing you so much these days how empty my world seems People say time heals all wounds that someday the pain will subside But Grandma I can tell you I think they must have lied. The emptiness I am feeling now is strong and I am weak These days go by without you so dreary and so bleak In my Rose Garden ofMemories I know you'll always be for though you're gone from this mortal world In my heart you'll always be.
