A time to give birth and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to uproot that which is planted. n E cclesiastes 3:1-2 On December 24, 1935, a beautiful baby girl was born in Hancock County, Sparta, Georgia to the late Mr. and Mrs. Bunnie (Leanne Mathis) Roberts. She was the youngest girl of eight children. On Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the age of 78, she entered into eternal rest. She obtained her education in Hancock County Public Schools. She joined Hickory Grove Baptist Church at an early age and served faithfully until relocating to Gwinnett and DeKalb County. Ms. Oliver's passion was her family and she will be remembered by her wonderful food, warm smile and pleasant disposition. Ms. Oliver's past-times were watching Braves baseball games, fishing and listening to those good old blues. Ms. Oliver worked at the Holiday Inn in DeKalb County as a Housekeeper for many, many years. As her health began to decline, she retired and took care of her brother, Mr. John Roberts.
