LITTLE SALEM CHRISTIAN CHURCH Reidsville, North Carolina Reverend Junior W. Wimbush, Pastor OBITUARY Floyd Mullins, a son of the late Jim and Annie Scales Mullins, was born on February 15, 1896. He was a life long native of Rockingham County, North Carolina. He was a devout and loyal member of Little Salem Christian Church, serving faithfully until his health began to decline. He chose to till the land thus, farming became his life's vocation. He was well-known and well-liked in his community. His pleasant personality endeared him to all who became acquainted with him. His fruitful life came to a close, Thursday, March 24, 1983 at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital, Reidsville, North Carolina. Although we are saddened, we bow to God's will and shall keep faith in His love and mercy. Sharing the sorrow of his death are: wife, Mrs. Gertrude Watt Mullins; daughters, Mrs. Lena Mae Blair, New York City, Mrs. Pauline Singleton, Mrs. Willie Mae McCain, and Miss Valerie Mullins, all of Reidsville, North Carolina; sons, Floyd E. Mullins, Hampton, Virginia, John W. Mullins, and David L. Mullins, both of Reidsville, North Carolina; step-daughter, Miss Mary Katherine Wilkerson, Newark, New Jersey; step-sons, William A. Wilkerson, Newark, New Jersey and Thomas Wilkerson, Reidsville, North Carolina; sisters, Mrs. Maude Simpson, Mrs. Lizzie Thomas, Mrs. Addie Rae King, all of Reidsville, North Carolina, Mrs. Frances Courts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Mrs. Bessie Stokes, Washington, D. C.; brothers, James Mullins and Walter King, both of Reidsville, North Carolina; fourteen grandchildren; eleven step-grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. All who believe in God's mercy and grace Will meet their loved ones face to face Where time is endless and joy unbroken And only the words of God's love are spoken.
