J took one last glance behind me wanting to remember all the foot steps I had taken through life . During this hard journey I could see only one set of foot prints. Why? The Lord answered "my child , I was with you all through your travels . But along the most difficult paths I carried you.'.' Mrs. Lucinda Glanton Minnifield was born December 16, 1923 in Troup County. Georgia to the late Mr . Arthur and Lucinda Glanton . She was the youngest of seven children. She departed this life Friday, January 9, 1987. She joined the Springfield Baptist Church at an early age under the pastorage of the late Rev . W. C . Amos . She served 30 years as Director of Youth at Springfield Baptist Church , was an original member of the E. R . Davie Choir. and at the time of her death , a member of the Mother's Board . She was honored as Woman of the Year of Springfield Baptist Church on the 4th Sunday in September, 1986. She was affiliated with the Atlanta Life Insurance Company for 34 years , where she served as an agent and later as supervisor of the Newnan District. Mrs . Minnifield is survived by one brother, Mr. Isaac Glanton ; three sisters , Mrs . Louisa Sanders , Hogansville , Ga .; Mrs . Arvella Tur. nipseed , and Mrs . Mary J . Wade , Atlanta ; sister-in-law , Mrs . Annie R. Glanton ; two brothers-in-law , Mr . Emmett Sanders, Hogansville ; Mr . Paul Turnipseed . Atlanta ; one aunt, Mrs . Wedie Wilborn , Griffin , Ga .; one uncle , Mr. Austin Wilborn , Cleveland , 0 .; five nieces, three nephews, five great nieces , three great nephews . a number of cousins , a devoted frie nd . Mrs. J ennie Lou Morgan and a host of other relatives and friends. He r life was full S he lived it we ll She cared, for all of us . And though we weep , Because she 's gone In God we put our trust .
