She has one sister, Eleanor Nolden and one brother, Stanley Clark. Gwendolyn departed our presence to be in the presence of the Lord on May 12, 2013. .. , She was educated at Bruce Street Elementary School and Lithonia High School in Del(alb County, Georgia. She also attended Minosa Beauty School in Atlanta, Georgia. Gwen was a beautician, bus driver and food serv1ce worker for Del(alb County School System for twenty-eight years until her health failed. Gwen joined Flat Rock United Methodist Church at an early age. She served as a faithful member of the choir. In 1971, Gwen and William was joined in holy matrimony. To this union was born one daughter, Arlanda Allen-Fleming.
