His family relocated to Linden, New Jersey where he matriculated in the Linden Public School System, graduating from Linden Lligh School. George was a ambitious young man and was employed in several po sitions, including working in his father's salvage company. He had a natural talent to fix all types of machinery and spent many hours re pairing recreational and commercial equipment. Looking to expand his horizons, George moved to the Atlanta area in 1981. He began working with his cousins in their hair care business, M&M Products. They grew to appreciate his gifted ability to work on machinery. With an entrepreneurial spirit, he spent his later years as a mechanic and landscaper. George was considered a "Jack of all Trades". The love of his life was his daughter, Princess. He also enjoyed be ing with family and friends. Barbequing and mu sic were among his favorite things. Whenever George was around, you could expect good food, fun and music. George's smile would light up a room. His family looked forward to his visits back to N ew J ersey. d Although on Tuesday, | December 20, 2011, George's life on earth ended. He will always be remembered by his adoring daughter, Princess 3% Ayana McKenzie; his sisters, Brenda McKenzie, Kathy McKenzie, Jackie Barksdale, and Jenine Bellinger. Also cherishing his memory are a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. George was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Michael and his sister, Sharon.
