Every hand of friendship has helped to make our burden lighter and our acceptance of God's will easier. N. Martin, Pastor The Reverend James Pullins Assistant Pastor, Officiating hituar~ laTonya Martin was one of many flowers in God's special garden. On Friday, May 27, 1988, God decided to go into His garden and pick one of His precious flowers. LaTonya, better known as "Tanya", was born on January 6, 1971. She believed in Christ and became a member of the New Hope Baptist Church, Atlanta, Georgia, under the pastorate of her great-uncle, the Reverend R. N. Martin. Tanya was a student at J. E. Brown High School and served as Miss Drill Team 1987-1988. She was a member of the Brown High Jaguarettes and the Marching Band. She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Martin; three brothers, Juan Zapata, Carlos and Willie Martin, Jr.; two sisters, Cassandra Michelle Smith and LaSonya Martin; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Estelle Woods; paternal grandfather, Mr. William Martin, Sr.; a host of greataunts, great-uncles, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. When I Must Leave You When I must leave you for a little while, Please do not grieve and shed wild tears And hug your sorrows to you through the years. But start out bravely with a gallant smile; And for my sake and in my name Live on and do all things the same, Feed not your loneliness on empty days But fill each waking hour in useful ways, Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near And never, never be afraid to die For I am waiting for you in the sky. - Helen Steiner Rice ORGAN PRELUDE PROCESSIONAL ....... . ........ ~~How Great Thou Art" HYMN .. . ...... . ..........
