Brooks Officiating 06ituary Tommie Johnson was born September 5,1933 to Corine and David Johnson in Rome, Georgia. At the age of 14, Tommie left Rome, Georgia to live in Atlanta, Georgia. Later, he met and married Mary L. Drake who preceded him in death in 2005. Of this union seven children were born. Tommie eventually moved his family to Decatur, Georgia and worked at various jobs including Johnson Diversey from which he retired. In 1998, he married Elizabeth Rogers and to this union three children were born. Tommie became a minister and taught bible classes to his children at an early age. Tommie enjoyed fishing, movies, and music. Some of his favorite movies were "The Phantom", "Superman", and "The Lone Ranger". Some of Tommie's favorite singers were Sam Cooke and Al Green. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, David Johnson, daughter, Deborah Johnson, and son, David Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted wife, Elizabeth Johnson; daughters, Patricia Johnson, Lavella S. Spearman, Corine A. Johnson, and Christine Johnson; sons, Tommy Johnson, Jr., Tommie L. Johnson, Michael Johnson, Nathaniel Johnson, and Reginald Johnson; two granddaughters, Monique Johnson and Demetrias Johnson; three grandsons, David Johnson, Christian Johnson, and Kevin Johnson; three great-grandsons, KeAndre, Jordan, and Jesse; one great-greatgranddaughter, Jessica; other loving relatives and friends.
