She was converted September 15, 1939, where she joined the Mt. Olive Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev: Harris. She was married in 1958 to Mr. Joe Henry Johnson . She departed her life November 19, 1987, at 5:45 p.m. at the Phenix Medical Park Hospital. She leaves to mourn, eight children, W. C. Alexander, Joe Johnson, Jr., Tocoma, Washington, Herman Golden, Indianapolis, Indiana, Willie Johnson, Phenix City, Alabama, Earnstine Williams, Patterson, New Jersey, Lillie Spivey, Annie R. Golden, Pam Johnson, all of Phenix City, Alabama; two daughters-inlaw, Mary Alexander, Lauire Johnson, both of Tocoma, Washington; two sons-inlaw, Curtis Williams, Patterson, New Jersey, Bobby Spivey, Phenix City, Alabama; one sister, Mrs. Louise Golden Jackson, Phenix City, Alabama; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Sadie Golden, Indianapolis, Indiana; fifteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a host of nieces; neph~ws; relatives and friends.
