Cemetery Sumbry Funeral Directors in Charge OBITUARY Bro. George James was born in Russell County, Alabama, October, l t897. He joined Crossroads Baptist Church at an early age. He later moved his membership to the Mount Olive Baptist Church where he served faithfully until his death. He leaves to m-ourn: a wife, Mrs. Fannie James; six sons, Gus James, Lewis James, M. C. James, Clarence James of California, George James, Jr. of Indianapolis, and Curtis James of Florida. Four daughters: two Mrs. Fannie L. Smith of California, Gladys Dowdell, Katie Lee Jones, and Mrs. Adell Jones of Columbus, Ga. Thirty-five grandchildren, sisters: Mrs. Josephine McCoy and Mrs. Nellie Miles, Seale, Alabama and a brother, Pledge James.
