Family and Friends 
The family of the late Mrs. Dorothy Ann Jacobs acknowledges with grateful appreciation the many kind and tender expressions 
of sympathy extended by friends, neighbors, church members and associates during these hours of sadness in the loss of our mother. Your thoughtsfulness has been a source of strength and comfort. We thank God for you and ask His blessings upon you. 
Just because you cannot see me, does not mean I an not there. Just because I am in heaven, does not mean I do not care. 
I often see you crying, you often say my name, I want to hold you tight, I want to ease your pain. 
It's easy for me, for I know heaven is real, 
If you knew the truth, how much better would you feel. 
One day we will meet again, but only when the time is right, when you step out of the darkness, I will be standing in the light.

 Dorothy AnnJacobs was born into the family of Albert and Rena Thomas of Gainesville, Georgia on February 22, 1926. Dorothy departed this life on November 1, 2013. She was a lovingwife to the late EthanJacobs until his death in 1981; she was a devoted mother to three daughters, a devoted Christian and a member of Saint Philip AME Church in Decatur, Georgia. She was a supportive wife always ensuring her family came first 
Dorothy is survived by her three daughters, Beverly Ann Mobley of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Patricia Yirga of McDonough, Georgia and Connie Jacobs of Stone Mountain, Georgia (care giver). Dorothy's grandchildren are Ethan, Yahannes and Aja.
