She attended Atlanta Public schools and also attended Dermis Cura Beauty College. Sollie joined Reed Street/Paradise Baptist Church under the Leadership of the Late Rev. C.N Ellis. She workedfait~fully in the church. The Deaconess Board, Missionary, Matron, Sister In Christ, and Sunday School until her health failed her. She retired from Visiting Nurse Health System after 15 years ofemployment. Sollie was married to the Late Johnnie B. Jackson October 27, 1941, for 49 years, who preceded her in death. To this union, four children vvere born, two sons, FVillie and Rev. Eddie; one daughter, Vivian: one step-son, Johnny: one great-granson, Dementru. All preceded her in death. Sollie is survived by one daughter, lvls. Barbara J Jackson-Pearson; four grandchildren, Johnnita, Vivian, Jose ', and Roderick; !Yvo step grandchildren. Eric and Elisa; one daughter-in-lau1, Delores Jackson: eighteen great, great grandchildren: ten great, great, great grandchildren; one brother-inlaw, Robert Jackson; one sister-in-law, Idessa Jackson, three cousins, Charles Green (Barbara) Johnnie M Hairston, and Delores Green: Host of nieces, nephews, cousins, Nelson, Turner, Carter, and Collins families. God Saw You Getting Tired God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around you and whispered, "Sollie Mae, come to me" With tearful eyes we vvatched you suffer and slowly fade away. Although we loved you very much, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating a determined spirit was at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
