Mr. Alfred Cornelius Jackson Sr. age 67, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday December 18, 2013. He was the fourth of

six children born to the union of the late Jessie Lee (Boykin) 
 
y 
 
Jackson and the late Bradley Taylor Jackson, Sr. He was born 
 
October 22, 1946 in Atlanta, GA. He attended S.H. Archer 
 
High School (Atlanta GA School), a graduate of the class of 
 
1964. He met Kendra Penelope Robinson of Ninety-Six South 
 
Carolina, and they were married 32 years. He retired from the 
 
United States Postal Service. He was preceded in death by 
 
two brothers Benjamin Boykin Jackson and Bradley Taylor 
 
Jackson, Sr. 
 
He is survived by four children: Nequita Jackson, Alfred Jackson Sr., Tiffany (Kamardi) Carter, & Prince Alfred Jackson. Also surviving are two sisters: Delloria (Lewis III) Kindle, Letitia Jackson and one brother Calvin Jackson, Sr. In addition to two grandchildren Jamar! Cornelius Jackson and Sydni Rae Carter and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. 
 
Alfred was affectionately called "Butch" by his wife, family members and friends. He passionately enjoyed singing, dancing, and fishing. He always lovingly referred to his wife as "momma". He was loving and caring and devoted to his family. 
 
 God Took Him to His Loving Home 
God saw him getting tired, a cure was not to be. 
He wrapped him in his loving arms and whispered 'Come with me.' 
He suffered much in silence, his spirit did not bend. 
He faced his pain with courage, until the very end. 
He tried so hard to stay with us but his fight was not In vain, 
God took him to His loving home and freed him from the pain.
