She joined the Mount Zion Baptist Church at a very early age where she joined the Usher Board. Ms. Millie worked hard as a Usher and loved her job and her church. She was a dedicated member and worked until her health failed. She departed this life on Saturday, January 19, 2002 at the Glenwood Manor Personal Care Home, Atlanta, Georgia. She leaves to mourn: Two sisters, Sallie Cockrell of Cleveland, Ohio and Ellen Howard of Atlanta, Georgia. One sister-in-law, Lizzie Howard, Athens, Georgia, Her niece whom she raised as her own, Rosa Mae, her husband Guy Brightwell and their four sons, Reginald, Stanley, Isaac and Garry Brightwell, all of Atlanta and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. tttttt ttttt tttt u God saw the road was getting rough.
