1896, November 26, a baby girl was born to the late Mr. 
and Mrs .Jacli and ESter Jones, whom they named Minnie Lee.

She confessed Christ at an early age and joined the 
 
church. She was a consistent member until her health failed her. 
 
She was married to Mr. Sam Houston and to this union 
12 children were born, 6 preceded her in deatbj. 
 
She leaves to mourn her passing, a dear husband, Mr. Sam Houston, four girls, Mrs. Bertha Dykes, Mrs. Zora 
Boaz:m.an, Mrs. Lois Owens, .Mrs. Mary Lou Rosser, two 
sons, Mr. Sam Hous.ton, Jr., Mr. Herbert H. Houston, and 49 --~@.dc~pdren, 48 ;reat-grandchildren, neices, - n~pi~ew~ ~d other relatives and friends.
