" Mr. Coraygus Ansonio Hodges was born in Florence, SC on August tl , 1983 , a son of Mrs. Marilyn Hodges and the late Ray Sawyer. He departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest on Monday evening, January 24, 20 It in McLeod Regional Medi- cal Center in Florence, SC. Coraygus received his formal education in the Darlington County Public Schools. At an early age, he attended Lawson Grove Baptist Church in Hartsville, SC. Coraygus spent all of his life in Darlington and Florence Coun- ties. He was a great lover of sports. His favorite teams were the Darlington Falcons (he never missed a game, no matter where they played) and the Dallas Cowboys (he loved the Cowboys). Coraygus was a loving son, brother, companion, father, uncle and family member. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him . He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, James Hodges and Mary Hodges. Those who shared the joys and sorrows of life with him and survive to cherish his beautiful memory are: his mother, Mrs. Marilyn (James) Sparks of Darlington, SC; his companion, Miss Tabalon Pettigrew of Timmonsville, SC; one daughter, Raygan Hodges of Timmonsville, SC; two special daughters, Zamyra Burrell and MyKayla Commander both of Timmonsville, SC ; two sisters, Mrs. Tia (T.J.) Antrum and Miss Ravin Samuel both of Darlington, SC; two brothers, Mr. Fonte Hodges of Darlington, SC and Mr. Chad Bacote of Atlanta, Ga. ; paternal grandmother Mrs. Madgalene Mack of Darlington, SC; four aunts, Ms. Emma White, Ms. Bertie Mae Jackson, Ms. Cynthia Williams all of Darlington, SC and Mrs. Janet (Robert) Brown of Hinesville, Ga.; two great-aunts, Mrs. Betty Hodges and Ms. Geneva Hodges both of Darlington, SC; four uncles, Mr. James (Bobo) Hodges, Jr. , Mr. Anthony (Cynthia) Mack and Mr. Ralph Mack both of Darlington, SC, Mr. Cooley Mack, III of Brunswick, Ga. , two great uncles, Wilbert (Cathy) Jacobs of New York and J. C. (Dorothy) Coe of Darlington, SC; three nieces, Tiana Hodges and Aiana Hodges both of Darlington, SC and TaNiyah Antrum all of Darlington, SC; two nephews, Ray len Samuel of Darlington, SC and Christopher Bacote of Atlanta, Ga.; a best friend , Deron Ross of Darlington, SC; one god-daughter, Demiaya Ross of Darlington, SC ; his extended family , the Pettigrew Family of Timmonsville, SC and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
