Ross, Jr., Officiating Obituary On Septetnber 18, 2003, God called our beloved Father, Leroy Hill, Sr., fron1 his earthly labors to his heavenly hotne, to his rest and reward. Mr. Hill \vas born in Dublin, Georgia on February 7, 1928, to the parentage of the late Robert Tharpe Hill and Mandy Jenkins Hill. He received his education fron1 Twiggs County Public Schools. He was a retired Foretnan and Engineer with the Knox Rivers Construction Cotnpany after 40 years of service. He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Dorothy Lee Broxton, who lovingly adopted his two children, Bobby Lee and Mary Ann, and bore hitn six additional children to fonn this great fan1ily. Mr. Hill was a hard working and devoted Father to his fam- ily. He was kind and caring to everyone he met, and was nutch beloved by all who knew hitn. He will be truly tnissed for his joking ways and wann laughter. He leaves to tnourn his passing, a devoted wife, Dorothy Broxton-Hill of Macon; children, Bobby Lee Hill, Mary Ann Hill, Marilyn Raines, all of Atlanta, Curtis (Mary) Hill, Leroy (Brenda) Hill , Jr. Michael Hill, Fayetta (Williatn) Bawlson and Linda Hill, all of Macon; sisters, Mandy Min1s of Vero Beach, FL, Bobby (Willie) Stephens, Doris Hill and Hattie Williatns, all of Macon; brother, George Hill of Brooklyn, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Arnetta Strickland of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Ella Mae (Earnest) Gardner of Tallahassee, FL, Ice lean Broxton and Wenell Broxton, both of Carryville, FL; brothers-in-law, H.J.
