Your entrance into this life on August3, 1958 as their fifth child was celebrated by your very proud parents, Frank L. (who preceded you in death) and Equillo G. Harris. 
You received your education in the Atlanta Public School System, attending and graduating from the Anderson Park Elementary School and Henry McNeal Turner High School. 
You accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Big Bethel A.M. E. Church. 
Love conquered and led you to share your life for the past twenty-two years with Theresa Pierce, whom you affectionately called "Tee". From your union, two children were born, a daughter, Nyia Monique and a son, Del Wayne, Jr. 
As you matured from a teen to a young man and adult, you were nurtured in the values of a faith in God, family , loyalty and love of people by your father, mentor and friend, Frank. You became his assistant and right-hand man as he managed the leasing office of the West Lake Court Apartments (a position you acquired upon his retirement). Your faithful and dedicated service to them was a total oftwenty-twoyears. 
You were blessed to be part of a strong supportive and loving family who taught you to accept duty and responsibility, thereby allowing you to ~ttend to the needs of your parents in their sicknesses, even when your own health was failing. 
God knew your pains and suffering . He knew just how tired you were. On Tuesday , February 9, 1999 in the early hours of the morning, He called you home. 
As a son , brother, life's partner, father and true friend, you have touched the lives of many, many people. Your gentleness, quietness, goodness and kind spirit will be sorely missed. 
You leave to cherish your memory, mother, Mrs. Equillo G. Harris; wife, Theresa; daughter, Nyia Monique; son, Del Wayne, Jr.; three sisters, Francillo Williams, Donnette MemfisDent (Alfred), and Cherlyene (Morris) Pratt; three brothers, Frank, Jr. (Tanya), Luther (Marjorie) and Stephen (Rosie); fourteen nephews, Frank, Ill, Antoin, Diji, Kunta, DeCarlos, Palmer, Dontavious, Akeem, Luther, IV, Stephen, Jr., Dewitt, Tarus, Stephan, and Jaquez; nieces, Sahara, WaKeelah, Wenderria, Ayesha, Kim, Dominqui, Kelsie, Sentella, Chantel, Shade, Stereni, Anna, Rozzie, Brianna, Shyra, and Miracle; two great-nephews, Antoin, Jr. and Dravion; one uncle, Luther, Jr., Chicago; two aunts, Garnell and Lynn; mother-in-law, Ruth Pierce, Miami; five sisters-in-law, Joyce (Bobby) Reese, Anna (Lee) Hamilton, Gloria, Delaware Mileage, Glenda and Juanita Pierce, and Juliet Harris; brothers-in-law,James, Early and Willie Pierce; a host of cousins and friends.
