Our Family wishes to say thank you to everyone who sent a card, called with a kind word , sent food or monetary donations. Perhaps a beautiful floral arrangement or donated your time to help the family 
through this difficult time. We all feel truly blessed to have known him, and now we can rejoice in his new

 On the evening of Sunday, March 8, 2015, Otis Hampton Jr. entered into the peace of his rest. Otis was one of 12 Children born to the late Otis Hampton Sr. and Mrs. Alice Mae Hampton in Atlanta, Georgia October 3, 1934. 
Otis received his education in the Atlanta Public School System. He served in the U.S. Army as a Dental Assistant Specialist. Otis was a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor for the City of Atlanta for 25 years. 
Otis is survived by his wife Mrs. Walter Mae "Cookie" Hampton, children: Bret, "Big" Felecia, Lorraine "Peaches", Lisa, Warren "Toot". Anzella, Toni, William "Mookie", Darrell "Deedee", "Little'' Felicia, four sisters, one brother. a host of grand-children, great- grandchildren, & many other relatives and friends. 
You can shed tears that he Is gone, Or you can smile because he lived, You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back, Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see him Or you can be full of the love that you shared, You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him and only that he is gone Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on, You can cry and close your mind, be empty and 
turn your back, Or you can do what He would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
