She graduated from Trenholm High School in Tuscumbia, Alabama. She received her B.A. and Masters in Education from Alabama State University. She also did further studies at Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee. 
 
Diligently involved in the community, she served with the Montgomery City Federation; The NAACP; former President of the Agnes J. Lewis Federated Club; former Financial Secretary for the Alabama Association 
 
On August 16, 1946 she was of Women's Clubs; a charter 
 
united in marriage to her college member and volunteer worker of 
 
sweetheart, John Brady Hall of the Montgomery Museum of Fine 
 
Dothan, Alabama. This union Arts, and tenured member of the 
 
was blessed with one daughter Montgomery Chapter of Jack b- Jill 
 
and one son. She served over of America.

Carolyne Hall (Johnnie) Simmons of Atlanta, GA., and john Brady (Tamra) Hall, Jr. of Fayetteville, GA.; six grandchildren: Jonathan T. (Estelita) Simmons, justin D. (Tarneshala) Simmons, Cara Simmons (Breon) Green, Erica Hall (Lyle) Moore, jasmine L. Hall and Christina L. Hall; ten great grandchildren; two sisters -inlaw: Jeannetter Curtis of Detroit, 
 
Baptized as an infant at St. Paul MI., and lradell Thomas of Camp
