She was born January 1, 1918 in Jackson Georgia (Butts County). Lilla was the youngest daughter of(13) thirteen children to the late Mr. Rich & Mrs Addie Lumbus Grigley. Lilla joined Traveler's Rest Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. E. T. Smith. She was a faithful member working on the Usher Board for many years until her health failed. M~ther Grigley didn't tum her down even as the years passed and Lilla health began to failed. Lilla lived with her sister-in-law Mother Grigley at 596 Fanor Dr. Forest Park. Though it got difficult as Lilla's health began to fail, Mother Grigley didn't tum her down. She simply put it in God's hand. She leaves to cherish her memory ( 1) one sister Mrs. Odie Douglas in Crestview Nursing Home; (41) Sister in-laws; and a host of nieces and nephews. There is an open gate at the end ofthe road.
