Obituary 
-Michael A. Glenn, son of the late Detective Lois E. Glenn and Annie J. Glenn, was born March 1, 1966 in Trenton, New Jersey. 
Michael was called home in the presence and care of his loving family on December 10, 2003. 
-Michael, or "Mike" as he was affectionately called, was genuinely loved by all who knew him. Mike was a loving, committed and loyal, son, grandson, brother and friend. Mike's kind and gentle spirit captured the hearts of all with whom he interacted. Mike will forever be remembered for his sense of humor, infectious laughter and his passion for life and family. 
-Mike was educated in the Trenton Public Schools having attended Junior 2 (Hedgepeth-Williams) and Trenton Central High School. While at Trenton Central High School, Mike was an honor Student and standout athlete. Mike led the Trenton Central high School Track Team to three State Relay Championships and three State Team Championships, and was the Indoor State Record Holder in the 800m and 1500m events. Mike was also the National Champion for his age group. Mike graduates with honors in 1984 from Trenton Central High Scnool and attended Seton Hall University on a full athletic scholarship. Mike completed his undergraduate degree from Howard University in Washington, DC having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. While at Howard University, Mike was actively involved in campus and community life and was a student researcher at the Center for Research on the Education of Students Placed at Risk (CRESPAR). 
-After graduating from Howard University, Mike decided to continue his educational objectives and was admitted to Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia where at the time of his death he was pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Studies. Mike's educational pursuits were designed to specifically equip him with the skills and knowledge needed to realize his life-long dream of establishing a private school in Trenton, New Jersey for underserved youths and families. 
-In addition to his parents, Mike was also preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Mrs. Elnora Cheatham, Mike leaves to cherish his memory, his grandfather, Ernest "Papa" Cheatham, five brothers, Louis, Rodney, Gregory, Hassan and Jason, two sisters, Shelley and Alisha and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
