McCallister Hollins, Officiating OBITUARY Christian Allayn Givens was born on May 30, 1972 to Erma and Lloyd Givens, Jr. He departed this life, after injuries suffered from an automobile accident, on Friday, August 8, 1994. Chris, as he was known by all who knew and loved him, grew up in Ben Hill United Methodist Church. He was christened by the late Reverend Paul Wohlgemuth and later baptized by the Reverend Cornelius L. Henderson. Chris was very active in the church, serving as an Acolyte, a Junior Usher and participating in the Boy's R.I.S.E. program. As a youngster, Chris would follow his father around the church helping him with the church's Communications Ministry. Chris went to Jackson Elementary School, Sutton Middle School and graduated from North Fulton High School. While at North Fulton, he was active in sports, playing football and running track. He also participated in the R.O.T.C. At the time of his death, he was a senior at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Christian leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Lloyd A. and Erma J. Givens, Jr.; a special loved one, Antoinette Chism, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; two sisters, Charis Anitra and Courtney Alycea Givens, Atlanta, Georgia; two grandmothers, Mrs. Jessie M. Lundy and Mrs. Irma A. Andrews, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; two uncles, Charles E. (Dorothy) Givens, Atlanta, Georgia and Shelton R. (Brenda) Martin; five aunts, Calvin (Sally) McKinley, Ellious R.
